BusBoard is a WhatsApp-based real-time bus tracking service for Lagos BRT commuters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

When you interact with BusBoard via WhatsApp, we collect:

• Phone number — to identify you and send replies.
• Bus boarding reports — the stop you boarded from, your destination, and the route.
• Timestamps — the time your report or query was received.

We do not collect your name, GPS location, payment information, or any other personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To calculate and share real-time bus arrival estimates with other commuters on the same route.
• To display anonymised activity on our admin dashboard (phone numbers are masked, e.g. 2348****78).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party.

4. Data Retention

BusBoard reports are retained for operational purposes and may be deleted upon request.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by messaging BusBoard on WhatsApp.

BusBoard operates through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Your interactions are also subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
